Man jailed 8 years

A man known as Kaisamba has been sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment by the Kenema High Court after he was found guilty of breaking into a shop at Humunya Avenue.
According to the state counsel Timothy Sowa, the man was caught in possession of huge cigarette lighters and two nylon bags of cotton ‘lappa’ by police personnel on duty.
Mr Kaisamba was then given an alternative of serving eight years in jail term or pay six million Leones as fine. But he was unable to pay.
