28 Cycling coaches are heading for the classroom in preparation of a level two coaching course which will start on Sunday September 5 and ends on the 15 September 2010.
The coaching expert is Richard Shepherd from England, who is expected to arrive today.
The course is being organized in collaboration with the National Olympic Committee (NOC), with sponsorship provided by the Olympic Solidarity.
The Union Cycling International (UCI) provided the expert for the course.
According to the President of the association Winston D C Crowther 28 cyclists will participate in the course drawn countrywide.
10 will be coming from the provinces and the rest from Freetown.
President Crowther went further to appealed to those who will be participating in the course to take the course seriously as they will be the feature coaches that will help to prepare the cyclists for feature international competitions.
He also stated that the course will also help the cyclists and officials who will be representing the association in the Commonwealth Games next month in India to be more focused and prepared for the tournament.
