Henry Macaulay Junior who lives in Nigeria and is also the son of the Ambassador to the Republic of Nigeria will compete for Sierra Leone today in the 100 meter heat in the on going ECOWAS games in Abuja Nigeria.
This was disclosed to Awoko Sports yesterday by a member of the delegation to the games. According to reliable sources no athlete from Sierra Leone was taken to the games as the association is still in disarray.
Also it was disclosed that two wrestlers from the Wrestling association of Sierra Leone Abdulai Rogers and Abdul Kalokoh will also be fighting.
This was disclosed by the President of the Association Prince Suallay who also revealed that one of the wrestlers Abdul Kalokoh will be fighting against is a Nigerian and he expects to see his two wrestlers progressing to the next rounds of the competition as the coaches have done a lot to put these two wrestlers in a good shape for the competition.
In the ongoing ECOWAS games in Abuja Nigeria three disciplines are now representing the country instead of the initial one discipline which was Volleyball.
