A catholic priest attached to St. Michael Catholic Church in Tongo field in the Lower Bambara chiefdom (name withheld) is alleged to have stolen from the funeral home of late Mr. Peter Lansana the sum of one hundred thousand Leones meant for the burial ceremony. Daniel Sumaila a farmer of Kpetima village in the Wandor chiefdom in the Kenema district has made his fourth appearance before the presiding acting magistrate Mohamed Alhaji Momoh-Jah Stevens in the magistrate court in Kenema city on the charge of murder. Hon. Adeliza Showers, High Court Judge of the Sierra Leone Law Court on Monday 28th May, 2012 threw out of Court the matter between a Nigerian company Trading as Courteville and the Sierra Leone Road Transport Authority (SLRTA)'.The learned Judge also lifted an interim injunction the court earlier slammed on the SLRTA not to enter into any agreement with any other company relating to the issuance of licenses. The Court further admonished Courteville to exhaust the structures of arbitration as stated in the contractual agreement between them and SLRTA.
