Mohamed Lamin Bangura yesterday assured All People’s Congress (APC)’s supporters of victory after the peace talk with the present party leadership.
The peace talk, which was held at the party headquarters in Freetown, saw many APC supporters jubilating after Serry Kamal, Mohamed Lamin Bangura, Ernest Bai Koroma, Victor Bockarie Foh and other party stalwarts joining hands in a symbolic gesture of unity.
Addressing party supporters, Mohamed Lamin Bangura after the meeting said they had started the peace talk and that at the end of it something positive would come out. He informed party faithful that, “Eddie Turay is not part of the peace talk”.
Mr Bangura noted that he was hopeful that after the meeting the party would be a success story.
Amara Adekalie Kamara informed supporters that, “the APC is now a united party and we are prepared for the [July 28] elections”.
He maintained that they were trying to put modalities in place to ensure that the party rode to victory in the elections.
After the peace talk Ernest Bai Koroma, Mohamed L Bangura, Serry Kamal, Victor Foh and others went for lunch at the party’s newly opened restaurant.
