Hundreds of residents in Kenema are now benefiting from the newly established Chinese clinic there. Speaking to pressmen at the clinic the Chinese doctor in charge, Dr Fang, disclosed that the clinic was established in October last year.
He explained that since he started operations in Kenema he had successfully treated over 500 patients for various illnesses such as typhoid, malaria, Sexually Transmitted Infections, severe headache due to drug poisoning, Asthma among many others.
Dr Fang said, “our drugs are from China”. When asked about admitting patients in the clinic he explained that they did not give permanent admission but give bed rest to patients for some hours.He noted that operational cases and deliveries were referred to the Government Hospital.
