A United Nations (UN) helicopter came down on Friday within the axis bordering Ivory Coast, Liberia and Guinea.
According to reliable sources the helicopter was allegedly shot down killing the crew of three.
The disaster could however been worsen but for the fact that the passengers had earlier been dropped off in Liberia.
This is not the first time incidents unidentified sporadic shooting at aircraft have been reported within this axis while the beleaguered Ivorian nation struggles to patch-up a tattered peace process.
