Chief Michael Shamsu Mustapha

Michael Shamsu Mustapha has resigned his position as Deputy Director of Sport according to a letter written to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Sport, which reads; I write to inform your esteem office of my resignations as Deputy Director of Sport as of today, 22 March 2019. It has been a wonderful experience working at the Ministry and serving my country. I will however be retaining my membership on the various international sports organization where I serve as a Board member as I did not get these appointments based on my position as Deputy Director but as an expert. I will be moving on but be rest assured of my continued support if it be required at any time. I wish the Ministry and Sports Council well in its future. No clear indication was given for the sudden resignation of the Deputy Director.
