Orange has handed over food to 41 of their subscribers that were successful in last week’s raffle draw. Seventeen won the monthly draw and 24 won the weekly draw. Sheik Omar Jalloh said when they started advertising this year’s Sunakati raffle they made it clear that they would give food to the winners because Ramadan is a month for sharing food during the month of fasting. The Ramadan raffle started on 2nd May 2019. “We started the draw last Saturday at SLBC and some did not believe they had won. But today, they now respect us because we have given them what we promised.” Seventeen of the winners were Orange money subscribers and five of the 17 won the monthly food raffle and the rest the weekly raffle. He said 24 subscribers won and eight of them won the monthly draw and the remaining 16 won the weekly draw. Sheik Omar averred that the draw will continue this weekend and will end in June after 450 subscribers would have won. One of the winners, Nabieu Yayah Kanu, said, “On Wednesday, I got a call to come to the Orange office. On Thursday morning, I went and I am very excited to have received these items as they will come in handy at this time of fasting.” All of the 41subscribers received their food and they were very happy for the supply.
